【作家メッセージ】
日々の生活で使うくらしの中の心地よいデザインを目指した木工家具から小物、カトラリー、アクセサリーなどのインテリア雑貨と言う木を取り組んで３０年以上経過いたしました。
又、２００６年より心やすらぐ響きを奏でるクラシックギターを製作を始めております。
我々使う樹木に関しては、環境破壊、温暖化、など樹木（木材）に関する環境が毎年厳しく、近年では益々入手困難になっています。価格が高騰して木工作家として成り立たない状況になっています。
その中で木材を有効利用に力をいれ、家具制作時に出た端材や木の瘤や小さな杢木を利用して日々暮らしの中で使われる木の良さを表現できるテーブルウエアー、カトラリー、アクセサリー等を製作しています。
技法に付きましては、伝統的な組み手、継ぎ手、組木、寄木、象嵌、木工旋盤、木とレジンの組み合わせなどを利用して生活を豊にする物づくりを心がけています。

【Message from the Artist】
I have been working with wood for over 30 years, focusing on creating comfortable designs for daily life, including furniture, small items, cutlery, and accessories.
Since 2006, I have also started crafting classical guitars that produce soothing sounds.
In recent years, environmental issues and global warming have made timber increasingly difficult to acquire, and rising prices have made it challenging for woodworkers to sustain their craft.
Despite these challenges, I am committed to making effective use of wood by utilizing scraps from furniture production, as well as wood knots and small pieces. I create tableware, cutlery, and accessories that showcase the beauty of wood in everyday life.
In terms of techniques, I use traditional methods such as joinery, marquetry, inlay, woodturning, and combinations of wood and resin to enrich everyday living.

1990年頃より心地よいデザインを目指した木工家具の製作を始める。
2006年　こころやすらぐ響き奏でるクラシックギター製作を開始。
2013年　第55回大阪工芸展　近畿経済産業局長賞
2014年　第53回日本クラフト展　入選
2015年　第57回大阪工芸展　独立行政法人造幣局理事長賞
2016年　第22回新美工芸展　入選
2018年　高岡クラフト展　入選　　伊丹国際クラフト展　入選
2021年　大阪府工芸功労者表彰
2022年　伊丹国際クラフト展「酒器、酒杯台」伊丹賞
