【作家メッセージ】
近年、私は、食器を中心に作陶しています。
食器を制作していて、本当に難しいものだと思います。特に、手に持って使う器、飯茶碗、湯飲み、カップ等を作るのに苦労します。
手に持って違和感のない様に作らなくはならず、持ち具合の良さ、重さ、口当たりに注意を払います。
又、使われる方の手の大きさ、指の太さを考慮して作りますが、なかなか各自にぴったりの器は出来ません。
その事を考えて、いろいろな大きさの器を作って、使われる方に合った作品を選んでいただいております。

【Message from the artist】
In recent years, I have been focusing on ceramic tableware.
I think it is quite challenging to make tableware, especially bowls, teacups, cups, etc. that are meant to be held in your hand.
I pay attention to how comfortable they are to hold, how heavy they are, and how they feel in the mouth so that they do not feel out of place when held.
In addition, I take into consideration the size of the hand and the thickness of the fingers of the person who will be using the cup, but it is impossible to create a cup that is perfect for anyone.
With this in mind, I make tableware in a variety of sizes, so that the customer can choose the best piece for his or her needs.

陶歴
1969年 京都市立美術大学陶磁器専攻卒業
1972年 タイ・チェンマイ市、タイ国産業開発センターにて
陶磁器技術指導。
その間、タイ古陶磁の調査研究。
1974年 京都山科に開窯。百々窯と命名。
1977年 京都府亀岡市に窯を移す。
